Google announced that it will decrease the fees in the Play Store, for subscription-based applications and also for developers. Subscription fees are reduced to 15% and some of the music streaming services will cost only 10% of their value.
Google said that all subscription-based apps will now pay a 15% fee and “e-books and music streaming services on demand” will be “eligible” for a fee “as low as 10%.”

The company explained that the reduction of prices in e-books and music streaming apps is because “content costs account for the majority of sales” on the Play Store.
The new lower fees for music streaming apps have not been disclosed by Google, but we hope it is included Spotify.
