Causes of Chrome not saving passwords
If the Google browser presents an error with the saving of passwords, we will find several possible scenarios. It may also happen that you are not able to remember accounts or automatic logins or that you ask us for your password, but you cannot save it.
This is an isolated browser issue that may be due to different reasons What:
- An outdated version of the browser can cause it to crash.
- Our Chrome profile is corrupted.

- A conflicting extension has been installed.
- We have prohibited you from saving local data.

Next, on the right side of the screen, within the «Autocomplete» menu, click on the «Passwords» section. Now we do not fix that at the top the section “Ask if I want to save passwords” is enabled with the button in blue. If the button is gray, it means that the function is deactivated, so we must press it to activate it again. Once done, Chrome should ask us to save the password automatically again.
Update Chrome to its latest version
The problem may be in what we use an outdated version of Chrome. For this reason, it is important to keep the browser updated, in order to ensure that we have the latest version that may have solved any previous errors or bugs.
