Given these data, companies are registering more social actions to make people aware of the social, climatic and even health problems suffered by some communities around the world.
Meta announces that it joins the care of the environment
Through a statement, Mark Zuckerberg’s company highlighted that with this new novelty on its Instagram platform seeks to offer users more information about protecting the environment.
That’s why it’s offering a new feature in more than 30 countries where concerned netizens can donate and create fundraisers directly on Instagram Reels for more than 1.5 million nonprofits.
In its informative text, the technology company Meta highlighted that all the money raised with the Instagram tool, called Fundraisers, will go entirely to each organization that has received the donations.
Likewise, the company invited each of its users to visit the climatology center, which is launched as Climate Science Information Center and is available in 150 countries.
This social tool has already been used by various characters such as the rapper Dave Burd, also known as Lil Dicky, the actress Maggie Baird or the activist Zyahna Bryant, to carry out public collections.
