The editorial DC Comics has launched a series of alternative covers that have managed to recover the essence and spirit of the 90’s in a new cover for the comic Batman Incorporated #2. In this case, who was the known companion of the bat of Gotham, Ghost Makerhe has been shown in a new costume that is very reminiscent of the superhero style that existed during the 1990s. The character first appeared in the comic series starring Batman made by the writer James Tynion IV and the cartoonist Jorge Jimenez which was published in the year 2020. The redesign of Ghost Maker will appear on the cover of Batman Incorporated #2 which will be made by the prolific writer ed brisson and whose artistic section will be reserved for John Timms. DC Comics explained that the upcoming comic series will tell us the story of the classic Batman team trying to solve the murder of someone from khan and that it will explore some hidden details about Batman’s past that also directly affects Ghost Maker. Ghost Maker must also join clownhunter to resolve the conflict in the story.
It’s fun to see DC Comics revisiting its past with the publication of these surprising alternative covers clearly influenced by the style of the 90s. The redesign of Ghost Maker on the cover of Chris Burnham it ends up making the character look like he was created 30 years before he made his first debut. While it is true that the original suit of Ghost Maker is much more appropriate in today’s stories for its incredible technology and spectacular look, seeing this new facet of the character makes the cover a great homage to all those stories published before the 2000s.
