343 Industries is about to kick off the second phase of the beta (or “technical multiplayer preview” as they call it) of Halo Infinite. The first was quite accessible, because all registered users of the Insider program received a invitation, but if you did not participate for any reason, you are in luck.
All the participants of the previous test have received in their e-mail inboxes a message containing a code to share with friends. When you redeem that code on the official website, you will be given another key that you can take to your preferred platform (Steam or Xbox) that is used to download the client of the game.
In other words, ask a friend for that code if you want to participate in this weekend’s test. It runs from September 30 to October 3 and in it you can test -after years of waiting- the brand new return of the Big Team Battle mode, or BTB for short. This classic that dates back to the dawn of the saga faces teams of 12 vs. 12 players on a huge map full of vehicles.
It’s not Battlefield 2042, sure, but it’s still loved. In fact, the first official gameplay that has been shown of the map that we will see in the beta has left fans in love with a cave that holds more meaning than it seems. As a reminder, Halo Infinite will be available on December 8 divided into two clients: one for multiplayer PvP (free-to-play) and another for the campaign.
