If anything the Flash movie will bring, they are huge surprises, since an old acquaintance from the Superman mythology would return to the film, the fearsome General Zod
The returns in The Flash movie continue to surprise us, as not only will we see two versions of Batman and Supergirl, but also one of the most dangerous villains in the DC Universe will return to the scene when General Zod appears once again.

According to the Giant Freaking Robot site, General Zod will be one of the returns to The Flash. Again the actor Michael Shanon would be in charge of interpreting the role he took in the plot of Man of Steel.
Zod starred in one of the most controversial scenes in the DC Comics Extended Universe, after being killed by Superman in the 2013 Zack Snyder-directed film. Shannon appeared once more in Batman v Superman, when Zod’s body was subjected to the experiment that resulted in the creation of Doomsday.

In the comics Zod debuted in the pages of Action Comics # 283 (April 1961). Dru-Zod Corkript, a Kryptonian general in charge of the military, planned to take control of Superman’s home planet, for which he was exiled to the Phantom Zone, before the planet collapsed.
Before Michael Shanon, actor Terrence Stamp played Zod in the films Superman and Superman II, directed by Richar Donner.
With the script by Christina Hodson, The Flash will be directed by Argentine filmmaker Andrés Muschetti and will feature Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / Flash, Sasha Calle as Kara Zor-El / Supergirl, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, and Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck, both as Bruce Wayne / Batman.

The Flash will hit theaters on November 4, 2022.
