This Tuesday the death of Francisco Javier Juamperez Barberena, founder of Hope Bakerieswho occurred on June 6, 2022.
“Mr. Francisco Javier Juamperez started, together with his brother Pedro, Pastelerías Esperanza in 1975, seeing the birth of its first branch within the Escuadrón 201 neighborhood in the Iztapalapa mayor’s office, all thanks to the artisanal production of traditional pieces of bread,” he recalled in a release the famous chain of bakeries and pastry shops.
Juamperez managed to build a chain with more than 100 branches throughout the Mexican Republic, throughout a 47-year career in which he was in charge of the family business.
“Each one of the employees that make up Grupo Esperanza, join the pain of their family in these difficult times and send them deep respect and most sincere condolences,” the company shared.
The announcement marks yet another loss in the business world, where the death of Alberto Bailleres was recently reported.
