FORTNITE | How to update the season
If you are playing on a computer, you will have to go to the software Epic Games Launcher. There make sure that automatic updates are active through Settings – Game Manager – Allow automatic updates. You can do this manually by going to the game page within the Epic Games Launcher and clicking update.
On consoles PlayStation and Xbox, the process is similar. You can go to the Fortnite page in the virtual stores of each console and click directly on update. It is also likely that the system will do it on its own from the moment you turn on the console, so you will have to keep an eye on the notifications or press “Options” in Fortnite within your library to check for updates.
Of being playing in Android, you will have to download the APK through the Fortnite launcher for mobile devices. Just open the program and start the installation of the new season. In iOS it’s easier, because you can do the same from the App Store or from the game itself if automatic updating is configured.
FORTNITE | How to make the download faster
The new season of Fortnite promises more content, so it would not be a bad idea to use the wired connection directly to the router via an Ethernet cable and avoid using Wi-Fi, since wired connections are usually more stable and faster.
We also recommend that you use the latest version of your web browser and any download-related software (including your router), and manage your downloads so that the most recent season of Fortnite be primary at update time.
Another good tip is to clear your browser’s cache and cookies to maintain optimal download performance, as well as verify that your router is configured correctly to take advantage of your connection speed.
