Social networks have become that space where a brand, public figure or news can be positioned, thanks to the great reach of these platforms. But also in these networks, an error can be costly for brands, since the digital pulse can generate strong criticism, as is the case of an error in a packaging of the Peruvian brand Tottus, which is generating the mockery of Internet users by selling “cat food, cat flavor”.
According to data from a recent study conducted by We Are Social and Hootsuite, revealed that there are currently 4.62 billion network users worldwide, which represents a year-on-year growth of more than 10 percent.
Likewise, the same report details that the number of users of social networks is now equivalent to more than 58 percent of the total population of the world. That is why on these platforms it is normal to find any type of trending content.
Taking this data as a basis, it is important to highlight that a period in which digital and interactive experiences have become more important.
Tottus packaging error generated ridicule in networks
Through a post on Twitter, an Internet user shared the packaging of the Tottus brand of a cat food that caught his attention because of the “taste” which was the product.
