Images from the set of Batgirl give us our first look at Michael Keaton as he returns as Batman after 30 years.
1992’s Batman Returns marked the end of Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne, but 30 years later we can see him on the set of Batgirl clad once again in the Batsuit.
That’s right, the black suit with a yellow shield is back, because this year we will also see it as part of the cast of heroes from the movie The Flash. Batgirl set photos surfaced on Twitter, showing Keaton’s Batman in full costume heroically standing alone in the middle of the street. Take a look at Keaton’s Batman on the set of Batgirl in the images below:

It is speculated that the Dark Knight will serve as a mentor to Barbara Gordon (Leslie Grace) in her foray as a vigilante. And this is reinforced by a video also from the set that shows a young James Gordon interacting with Batman. Thus, both this video and the previous images could belong to a flashback:
Our friends over at @WeeWalksYoutube were able to spot the #Batman on the #Batgirl set. We can assume this is a flashback 🦇

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing the film from a script by Birds of Prey screenwriter Christina Hodson. In addition to Keaton and Grace, the Batgirl cast includes Brendan Fraser as the antagonist Firefly, JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Ivory Aquino as Barbara’s best friend, Alysia Yeoh. Meanwhile, Jacob Scipio, Rebecca Front, Corey Johnson and Ethan Kai join the film in undisclosed roles.
