Low-cost medical offices have become one of the most successful businesses in Mexico. New spaces are constantly opening up throughout the national territory and they even already offer more consultations than the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS). The first choice of care for thousands of patients
In that tenor, The Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (Cofepris) affirms that there are more than 40,000 businesses of this type in the country. Although the number is constantly increasing despite the complaints of doctors.
Among the most frequent inconveniences, it is reported that salaries are very low, in addition to not always complying with what the Official Mexican Standard regarding the equipment of medical offices and the filling of the clinical file.
However, from the economic point of view, the city of Guadalajara ranks as the second nationally that offers optimal conditions for investment. In a study of ProMexico 77 cities throughout the country were analyzed and six transcendental variables in the business environment were considered: economy and productivity, labor force and talent, quality of life, infrastructure, logistical access and availability of basic services.

The Government of Jalisco has managed to position the entity as a reliable and prosperous destination in Mexico for new investments. At the national level, the figures show a preliminary increase of 49.2%, which is why Jalisco is positioned above the national average and ranks third as the state with the highest acquisition of foreign capital, only below Mexico City with 9,356.2 million dollars. and Nuevo León with 2,661.3 million dollars.

The United States is the country that invested the most in the entity with 898.5 million dollars; It is followed by the United Kingdom with 292.6 million dollars and Canada in third place with 273.1 million dollars.
In the accumulated to the second quarter of 2022, in Jalisco 547.6 million dollars were captured, which represents 151.7% more than in the same quarter of the previous year.
