Fabio Quartararo is the lord and master of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The Yamaha rider has achieved an impressive victory in the MotoGP Catalunya GP after taking the lead in the first angle and not leaving this position until the checkered flag. By the way, the Frenchman has endorsed Jorge Martín and Johann Zarco for more than six secondsriders who have signed a double on the podium for Pramac Racing. A podium where Aleix Espargaró should have been if he didn’t stop his pace one lap before the real end of the race.
The ‘Devil’ Quartararo took advantage of the start to take the lead after beating Aleix Espargaró in the first corner. The realization was focused at that time on Takaaki Nakagami’s spectacular accident, a fall in which he dragged Pecco Bagnaia with his body and Álex Rins with his motorcycle. Taking into account this situation and that Quartararo endorsed his rivals for almost a second in the blink of an eye, hardly anyone managed to see the Frenchman until 22 laps later he crossed the finish line victorious.

More crumb had the race behind the Yamaha rider. Aleix Espargaro and Jorge Martín alternated in the second position, trying to close the gap opened by Fabio without any success. They had no other concern either, as Johann Zarco was riding in no man’s land for much of the race and only approached them in the final stretch of the event. With everything, Aleix Espargaró was the one who ‘gave’ the podium to Zarco with his mistake one turn away from the end. In a surreal situation, #41 ended the race one lap early.
When Aleix Espargaró wanted to realize his mistake, Jorge Martín and Johann Zarco already had the podium in their pocket. In addition, Joan Mir also secured fourth position after signing a brilliant comeback. Bleak, Aleix saw the checkered flag in fifth position after beating Luca Marini in the last lapa lap that for the Aprilia rider should not have existed and that marked the difference between success and failure. Maverick Viñales in a race from less to more took a positive seventh position.
Brad Binder and Miguel Oliveira, official KTM riders, finished behind Viñales, with Álex Márquez in tenth place. The LCR Honda rider achieved a creditable result after his wild crash yesterday. All in all, the little Márquez was not the last Spanish driver who could leave the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, since Raúl Fernández took the fifteenth final place to add his first point of the season with the KTM of the Tech3 team in a race in which there have been up to seven retirements.
