As we were told last month, Eternals is already available in Disney + for all subscribers without having to pay an additional fee. As a result of the above, Marvel has revealed new details about the film, including a deleted scene that shows us the truth about the dinosaurs within this cinematic universe.
Eternals changed everything we thought we knew about the origins of life on Earth. Earth, and it appears that includes dinosaurs as well. In a deleted scene, we can see the character of Sprite talking with dane whitman in a museum with various dinosaur fossils. After creating a brief illusion, Sprite explains to Whitman that the exhibited fossils were not of dinosaurs, but of the deviants, main antagonists of the film.
I mean, it seems that dinosaurs never really existed within the MCU, but all the fossils found belonged to the deviants. After all, the Eternals they are beings that were present since the origins of humanity, so they must know this kind of thing.
Publisher’s note: Eternals turned out to be a much better movie than I expected. I can understand why it’s ranked as one of the worst in the MCU, but it has great cinematography, impeccable CGI, and the story can also be quite moving in parts.
