The new FIFA 22 was revealed several years ago through a curious first trailer that has shown us in small doses what the innovative and new Hypermotion technology will be capable of that can be enjoyed on Xbox Series X | S, bringing us even closer to realism and making that every moment of the game is much more vibrant than ever. With Mbappé as the cover of the three editions, FIFA 22 will go on sale on October 1, 2021 for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PS5, PlayStation 4, PC and Google Stadia.
Although, as announced EA Sports Through Twitter, on July 20 there will be an event that will serve as a prelude to the long-awaited EA Play Live, where we can see how this new FIFA 22 will look on the new generation consoles, in addition to many other novelties. Therefore, to announce this event, EA has published an announcement with a brief gameplay of FIFA 22.

As you may have seen in that brief FIFA 22 gameplay, it doesn’t seem like there is much difference from the FIFA 21 version on Xbox Series X | S. Everything seems to be very different, apart from the new punt animation when trying to save a ball that goes out of bounds. Obviously, it has only been a few seconds of gameplay, but still there does not seem to be much difference between one delivery and another.
Finally, we remind you that anyone who buys the standard edition, either in physical or digital format on previous generation consoles, will have to purchase the improved version for Xbox Series X | S or PS5 at full price, as EA has confirmed what FIFA 22 can only be upgraded for free from Xbox One to Xbox Series X | S with the Ultimate Edition.
