Dying Light 2 has received a new patch today, which fixes a lot of bugs in addition to adding certain improvements for different sections of the game. This update is particularly important for gamers of Xbox Series Ssince it finally allows them to reach a rate of up to 60 frames per second, although of course, at the cost of a lower resolution.
At the time, Techland mentioned that the GPU of the S-series I was limiting them to be able to hit 60FPS, but somehow they made it work. Note that using this mode will drop the resolution of the game significantly, though the developers weren’t very specific about the details.
On the other hand, another performance mode was added for users of Xbox Series X and PS5 known as “balanced“, which as its name indicates, will seek to offer a stable 60FPS while at the same time also maintaining a somewhat better resolution and graphics. Again, Techland he did not provide specific details.

Publisher’s note: Since its release, Techland has been releasing constant updates to improve the stability of the game. The truth is that Dying Light 2 did not debut in such a bad state compared to some other great AAA games, but it did need a cleanup in terms of bugs and glitches.
