In the late 1990s and early 2000s, a blonde with a towering hairstyle, dark glasses, and massive muscles was the sensation of Cartoon Network. Your name: Johnny Bravo. At one point he featured a talk show, from which a missing episode recently emerged…a crossover with dragonball.
If we stick to reality, the episode was not lost: it is found, like many others, online in the Internet Archive.
But few remembered its existence, until it was released on social networks in May. Comments from fans include: “The episode made me laugh out loud! It took me back to the old days”, or “I almost thought it was lost forever, apparently not. I’m glad they found it.”
About what was it all about?
The story of the lost episode of Dragon Ball x Johnny Bravo
The series of shorts was called JBVO, and in it Johnny Bravo was in a talk show space. The lost chapter was number 6, dated May 7, 2000, with the name I’ve Been Practicing, o I have been practicing.
With the English voice of Jeff Bennett, the Cartoon Network character read letters from fans, who asked for the rebroadcast of shows like Scooby Doo and Johnny Bravo.
In episode number 6, a young woman named Jennifer asked the presenter for her favorite episode of Dragon Ball Z, where Goku and Frieza had the final battle on Namekusei.
Although Johnny Bravo claimed that he could not broadcast the entire episode, he did summarize, using fast-paced scenes from the battle.
It’s always great to hear the Cartoon Network character, but more so if he does it talking about the favorite series of many, Dragon Ball. What do you think about her? We read you in the comments on our social networks.
