Dragon Ball Super has several heroes on its side, but these days, Vegeta has had the spotlight on him. after Toriyama himself admitted his contempt for him. During the Granola Arc, Vegeta broke the stereotype of being second-in-command when his new form was unleashed., which equals Goku’s Ultra Instinct in power. The saiyan prince’s Ultra Ego is officially the latest power to join Vegeta’s arsenal, and now the latest manga tome shows its true colors.
The piece comes directly from Dragon Ball Super as the manga has just released its official color volume in Japan and was shared by DBS Hype on social networks. It didn’t take long for fans to share the new information that this new volume of the manga brought, and it was there that fans were given an official look at Ultra Ego in full color.
As you can see, this image corresponds to the first great confrontation between Granola and Vegeta, after Goku was knocked out after fighting against the strongest warrior in the universe and the artist Toyotaro canonized him at the end of last year. A chibi sketch of Vegeta was inked and shown for Jump Festa last winter to get fans excited., and that’s where netizens first saw Ultra Ego Vegeta in color. But now, we have a more realistic version of the form as it comes directly from the manga.
As you can see, the Ultra Ego’s final form in Dragon Ball Super definitely bulks up Vegeta as his blue suit is full of muscle, the character’s eyebrows are gone as usual (like Goku’s SSJ 3 mode) and his hair is dyed a dark purple shade. The energy aura surrounding Vegeta is also crackling purple, and the Saiyan has a weight here that we’ve only seen with his partner’s Ultra Instinct.
Clearly, fans are excited about this new look, and it has given netizens more hope that this form won’t be unique. Goku uses Ultra Instinct quite frequently these days as he is still trying to master it and even more so when facing the strongest beings in the universe, Vegeta needs to take a similar path and by doing so his training with Beerus will continue. If Dragon Ball Super is smart, it will focus on this growth with its next arc, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed for more of the Saiyan prince on the scene.
