Google has renewed its catalog of animals and objects in 3D, fun representations in augmented reality that can be viewed from the search, adding ten dinosaurs directly taken from Jurassic Park. And they are already available: just enter the name in Google search.
Augmented reality is not only fun, it is also extremely practical to teach what virtual objects are like since they can be viewed in physical space using the smartphone. Even animals, whether they are current or extinct millions of years ago: Google has just revived ten dinosaurs by including their representation in RA through search. Do you want to see what a Tyrannosaurus Rex or a Velociraptor looks like? Prepare your mobile, it is super simple.
Ten Jurassic Park dinosaurs in augmented reality
The novelty has been announced by Google itself on its blog: thanks to an agreement with Amblin and Universal Studios, producers of Jurassic Park, and with the development of Ludia, the 3D aspect of ten popular dinosaurs has been modeled so that anyone can see them on your phone. As an on-screen animation and also using the camera to bring the dinosaur almost to reality.
The RA view of the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park follows the same mechanics as the animals and 3D objects that we had previously seen: you have to find a specific name so that Google offers the 3D view of the aforementioned. After pressing the button, the dinosaur will be animated on the phone screen on a white background; and if you click on ‘ See in your space ‘, the mobile will load the view in augmented reality once the representation surface has been correctly detected (you must point the phone’s camera at the ground).
There are ten dinosaurs introduced in the Google search: you have to write any of them so that the search engine returns the option to see it in 3D; with a visual browser that allows you to jump to any of the other dinosaurs. Those included are:
- Tyrannosaurus Rex.
- Velociraptor.
- Triceratops.
- Spinosaurus.
- Stegosaurus.
- Brachiosaurus.
- Ankylosaurus.
- Dilophosaurus.
- Pteranodon.
- Parasaurolophus.
Dinosaurs can already be seen in the search, but the augmented reality view may not appear yet. It is a matter of time: if you can not visualize any, you will only have to wait for Google to expand its visualization.
