The search for the Titanic submersible, which disappeared last Sunday while trying to reach the wreck of the Titanic, has continued with intensity this Thursday despite the fact that, according to the calculations of the Coast Guard, it could have already run out of oxygen.
Coast Guard Rear Admiral John Mauger said in an interview with NBC Thursday that the search and rescue is continuing as more high-tech vessels and medical personnel join the operation.
On Tuesday, the Coast Guard rear admiral indicated that the submersible only had 40 hours of oxygen left, so the limit of that oxygen is met on Thursday morning. In addition, the crew has limited food rations.
Troops and resources from the US, Canada, France and the United Kingdom are participating in the search, with planes, boats and underwater drones.
