The head of Government of Mexico City, Marti Batres Guadarrama, and his cabinet announced this Monday, October 16, the complete program of activities that are contemplated for the Day of the Dead Celebration in Mexico City. Among the most anticipated events is the Day of the Dead 2023 Night Walk.
At the Mexico City Museum, the General Director of Community Festivals of the Ministry of Culture, Argel Gómez Concheiro, led the press conference in which the massive activities managed by the local government were presented.
There, the Secretary of Mobility of CDMX (SEMOVI), Andrés Lajous, presented the Day of the Dead 2023 Night Ride, an activity characterized by attracting mainly cyclists; although other non-motorized transport such as skates, skateboards or pedestrians are also included. The invitation is to attend in costume and to adapt the vehicles with lights and ornamental elements for the Day of the Dead.

According to the head of SEMOVI, services such as free bicycle loan, medical assistance and direct access to LOCATEL will be included. Likewise, costume contests were announced for both clothing and vehicle decoration. It is expected that attendance will be 150 thousand people.
