Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of the latest titles from Assassin’s Creed released by Ubisoft, the company has done things right for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to become one of the public’s favorites. Eivor’s journey has everything that has characterized the franchise, and a little more. Although for many Assassin’s Creed fans this new DLC can be a bit overwhelming, especially because of its new mechanics, it does have some good things.
If you are (like me) one of those players who have waited with great enthusiasm for dawn of ragnarokI can only say one thing: you will not be disappointed. We have had the opportunity to have Dawn of Ragnarok in our hands and to be able to try what is new from Ubisoft, something that we appreciate. To help you in this new adventure, here is our review of this great DLC.
The new powers and how you will deal with them
Let’s start with something that, personally, has blown my mind. In this new journey as Odin, players will face hundreds of cool adventures in the new world of Svartalfheim. This world is extremely extensive and with interesting missions, which you will not be able to face without the use of Odin’s new powers. These powers are given by a bracelet that you can improve with the blacksmiths, the only problem with these new powers is that, Ubisofthas made use of a limiter (Mana) which runs out very easily and leaves a lot to be desired at times.
Along with this magical power, the ability to soar through the skies has made this even better. Players will no longer have to use their beloved eagle, now they can transform into an eagle. This is where my first shock comes in, is that at certain times you seem to be playing any other title, but not Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or any Assassin’s Creed title.
A more than extensive map, but largely boring
It is true that the people of Ubisoft It has been brilliant with this new world, but if there is something that you might not like, it is the fact of the gray areas. Reminiscent of classic AC titles, there are moments of action at almost every turn, you don’t need to go far from cities or towns to find enemies. In this case, things are different, there are times when the exploration is very boring, there is not much to do outside of the main story, something that Valhalla does not usually happen.
Amazing visual section and great support
Compared to Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Ubisoft has made a work of art with Dawn of Ragnarok. You don’t need a state-of-the-art console to see the exquisite work in dawn of ragnarok. The mountains, valleys, snow and surrounding towns make the experience a true gem. I’ve tried Dawn of Ragnarok on a PS4 and believe me, it’s all you need. It’s obvious that Next-Gen gamers will be able to take the visuals to another level, but for those of us who aren’t lucky enough to have a PS5 (yet), your PS4 will be more than enough.
Conclution
The game is not perfect at all, the story has some ups and downs that could confuse players (it happened to me), still the story feels fresh; It’s kind of weird, but it works for the most part. Something important is that the OG players of Assassin’s Creed could have a little clash with Dawn of Ragnarok, the game is nothing already known, we could even say that if it were not for the name “Assassin’s Creed” they could pass off Dawn of Ragnarok as a new title. In general, the game is good.
