There are fewer and fewer days left until Halloween is celebrated, a holiday that has not gone unnoticed for Fortnite, hence Epic Games has announced the event Fortnitemares 2022 with a good load of novelties that will affect the events that will take place in the games, especially the characters that we can control.
Undoubtedly one of the most striking additions is the fact that DJ Lyka will be waiting for players at the Tree of Reality to transform them into a werewolf, modifying their abilities. To do this, you will have to approach one of the Altars of Alteration to perform the ritual and thus obtain the Predator’s Claws in exchange.
By equipping them, players will transform into one of these beings that will have the ability to howl in order to place a mark on a rival and be able to track them while they remain in a close radius. Also, with sharp claws you can deliver the most lethal melee slashes and you can even perform a double jump to cut opponents in pieces in the air.
Along with this have been incorporated hordes to Zero Construction mode, so you will have to form teams to destroy armies of monsters, collect point multipliers, win combos and survive in different places to defeat a final boss. And all this without constructions in between, focusing the games on direct action.
On the other hand, those who do not want to participate in this mode will have other types of general missions available to them that will serve to unlock themed items, such as candies or the pumpkin launcher. In addition, there will be three new very special skins, such as those of Mr. Meeseeks and Summer from Rick and Morty along with that of Ash, the protagonist of the Evil Dead saga who will be equipped with his iconic weapons.
The Fortnitemares event is now available and will remain active until November 1. For its part, the duration of the new Zero Construction horde mode will be extended even more and in that case you can play it as much as you want until November 15.
