The Warhammer 40,000 universe is full of a multitude of different video games, as Games Workshop demonstrated yesterday at the Warhammer Skulls 2022 Showcase event, which left us with the announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Traderwhich will be about first CRPG of the franchise.
Owlcat Games, the company in charge of Pathfinder: Kingmaker, is the one behind the development of this title that will mix elements of classic role-playing games with turn-based combat. All this in the role of a Rogue Trader, who is endowed with great powers and has the task of expanding the borders of the Empire.
This will imply that during the plot we will have to show ourselves as a merciful or ruthless being with the subjects, comply with the Emperor’s orders or turn our backs on him. In the end, it will be the players themselves who, with your actions and decisions will determine everything that will happen.
The action will take place in a dangerous region that has not been explored by the Imperium of Man. In addition, we will be able to recruit companions on the fly who will join our ranks with a non-linear story and a gameplay that those responsible promise will be addictive, but difficult to master.
For now Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader does not have a date for its launch, but what has been indicated in this regard is that it will go on sale for PC and consoles and from today its founders packs can be purchased. Those who decide to support the title will receive in exchange a pack of rewards and access to the alpha and beta versions that will be enabled later.
