Last month the new one arrived PSPlus to the Asia region, and classic games were found to be running at 50Hz, similar to what was seen in Europe at the time. In this way, many wondered if the PAL format would be a standard for the rest of the world. Okay, with this service now available in America, it has been found that this is not the case.
According to VGC, the classic games that we find in the new PS Plus run at 60 Hz, that is, they are the NTSC versions. Thus, users in our region will not have to worry about enjoying these titles at a lower speed. Alongside this, this is the list of classic experiences currently available:
-Worms Armageddon
-Worms World Party
-Oddworld
-Tekken 2
-Mr Driller
-Hot Shots Golf
-IQ Intelligent Qube
-Ape Escape
-Echochrome
-jumping flash
-Siphon Filter
-Wild Arms
-Resident Evil Director’s Cut
While there are several titles that are shared between the other regions, here we see clear absences that are available in Asia and Japan, such as Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! Nevertheless, Resident Evil Director’s Cut It is something that at the moment we only find in America. Remember that both this selection, as well as the PS4 and PS5 games, will be constantly updated and changed.
In related topics, here we tell you more about how to update your subscription to the new service.
Editor’s note:
Although there are still issues that need improvement in terms of emulation, it is good to see that at least the speed of the games is correct for our region. Surely Europe will have the PAL versions. The weird thing is that Asia has a selection that includes both of these standards, and not just one.
