Folding mobiles have not been characterized precisely by being cheap if we compare them with the rest of the phones on the market, even taking into account that some aspects are usually technically inferior to other top of the range, such as cameras.
How much will they be worth in Europe?
That is the question that many users have been asking since they know that the new phones of the brand will be presented on August 11. And now thanks to a leak we know, specifically the prices that these will have in European territory. According to this information the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 in its 12GB + 256GB version it will have a price of 2009 euros, while the version that has 12GB + 512GB will be priced at 2099 euros. It is the same price that the basic version of this phone has had in Spain in 2020, so in this aspect Samsung will not introduce changes and would keep its phone close to 2000 euros.
In the case of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 the prices would be 1029 euros for the 8GB + 128GB version, while for the 8GB + 256GB version the final price in Europe would be 1109 euros. Recall that the price of the 5G model launched last year 2020 was 1,550 euros. So if these filtered prices are true, we would be facing a big discount in the price of the most compact folding of the Korean firm in Europe. A price that would undoubtedly make it a very attractive terminal, making the folding technology as affordable as a traditional top-of-the-range mobile.
Unpacked in just 10 days
Samsung’s new event will take place on next August 11. And it is expected that in addition to its new folding the firm will present different wearables. This is the case of the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, the signature smartwatch that comes with a new generation, or the new Galaxy Buds headphones.
But without a doubt it will be the brand’s folding mobiles that mark the pace of this presentation. Because it seems that they will also release a new S Pen, more advanced, called Pro, thus confirming that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be the direct heir to the Note range that, as you know, at least for now, will no longer receive new models.
