At CES 2022, Liteboxer announced that it is joining the metaverse with its own VR. We tell you everything you need to know In this note!
Liteboxer, a company that created a different way of being able to practice boxing from the comfort of your home, said yes to metaverse by advertising your own VR on the CES 2022. The first product demonstration was the January 5 and what they propose is something quite interesting that mixes their original product with augmented reality.
Virtual reality or VRIn case you don’t already know, this is when computer technology is used to create a simulated environment that feels like the real thing. With a kind of helmet-glasses with a screen, you can enter almost any experience as if you were really there.
The proposal of Litleboxer VR is bringing everything your other teams propose to virtual reality. This experience includes the combination of hardware, game dynamics, current music, and expert training. The intention is to offer a high intensity workout that is as fun as playing a video game. Only it is not a video game since you are developing cardio, strength, mental acuity.
The Litelboxer VR will be available in the Quest 2, device Oculus or, as it is called now, MetaQuest. This reality offers real coach-led workouts that take place on a daily basis and that cross the boundary of motivation towards real training and 3D interaction.
As well as face-to-face challenges that you can face within the metaverse with family, friends or colleagues Liteboxers of all the world. The reality also offers an extensive music library in association with Universal Music Group, which brings everything from Lady Gaga to YG to the virtual ring. And finally, there are in-app leaderboards as well as personal statistics so you can track your performance and share it on social media.
But… How does it work? The Liteboxer VR has precise hand tracking software and offers something never before proposed by any fitness virtual reality: the option of an uncontrolled experience. This allows users to take on challenges or coach-led workouts without the need for giant hardware. All it takes is the set from VR Quest 2 and a membership to Liteboxer VR, which can be obtained from March 3 of this year.
Regarding prices, the Liteboxer VR can be purchased from the store Quest and its value is $ 18.99 dollars a month, it does have a seven day free trial though. For those who have already purchased the devices Floor Stand or Wall mount and they already have a membership, they can access the Free VR.
