Polkadot announced today that the Polkadot Decoded organization added Buenos Aires as one of the cities where the event will be held. Such a decision responds to the interest of the South American community.
According to a statement shared by the organization, lhe Argentine capital, which is a focus of interest in Web3 and blockchain, will be joining Berlin, Mexico City, New York and Shanghai as the fifth city to host live events on June 29 and 30 this year after it was previously held as a digital experience due to the measures taken by the pandemic.
Polkadot Decoded 2022, organized by the Web3 Foundation, will be a hybrid, face-to-face and digital event serving the needs of a truly global ecosystem and reaching those who cannot travel to one of the five cities. It should be noted that during the summit will include:
- Top talks from people involved in Polkadot’s parachain projects.
- Immersive, interactive and collaborative workshops and hackathons.
- A networking opportunity for members of the Polkadot community.
That said, the organization of the event, reflecting the philosophy of decentralization, invited the community to propose and then vote for the innovations and ecosystem initiatives that they wanted to be presented at the event. In this regard, nearly 82,000 votes were received and the shortlist announcing the most popular proposals has been published in three languages: English, Spanish and Mandarin.
