Almost a month ago, Congress approved the delivery of a bonus of 600 soles to public sector workers. This money will benefit 582 thousand state employees, however, not all will receive it because in order for this monetary support to be deposited, they must meet some requirements determined by the Peruvian authorities. How do I know if I will receive the 600 soles bonus?
To receive the bonus of 600 soles, public workers must comply with some guidelines determined by the authorities. Here, we tell you what they are so that you can know if you will benefit financially.
- Have an employment relationship as of June 30 of this year.
- For workers of national government entities and regional governments, people must be registered in the Computer Application for the Centralized Registry of Payrolls and Data of Human Resources of the Public Sector (Aisshp) of the MEF.
- For municipal workers, they must appear on the Electronic Payroll (PDT Plame).
Which state workers will receive the 600 soles bonus?
Not all public sector workers will benefit from this bonus, but only those who are in the following areas. Below, we tell you the cases in which it will happen.
- Personnel who are under labor regimes 276 and 728.
- CAS Staff.
- Civil Service Law.
- Special public prison career and diplomatic service.
Who will not receive the 600 soles bonus?
Not all people who work in the state will receive the bonus. In this paragraph we tell you in which cases it will not happen so that you are not surprised if you work in that sector.
- People who hold managerial or trust positions or those who meet the characteristics of a public official.
- Workers who work in the Health and Education sectors.
It was last Friday, October 20, that the Plenary Session of Congress approved bill 5997/2023-PE, which grants additional credits to various sectors with the purpose of promoting economic reactivation and addressing the emergency due to weather phenomena, in which it is including the payment of the bonus of 600 soles in favor of State workers.
The proposal presented by the Executive Branch was approved with 88 votes in favor, 4 against and 4 abstentions, according to the electronic board. According to the approved opinion, more than 1 million 581 thousand soles will be allocated to finance, exceptionally, these expenses.
Why hasn’t the 600 soles bonus been paid to state workers yet?
What happens is that now it is the Government’s turn, which will have to rapidly follow the following steps after the Legislature approves the project that will allow the payment of the 600 soles bonus to State employees:
- Receive the signature of the law from Congress.
- Analyze and subsequently promulgate the standard.
- Make it official by publishing it in the El Peruano newspaper.
When would the 600 soles bonus be paid to state employees?
Although there is no exact date established, it is expected that the entire previous process for the payment of the bonus of 600 soles to be made to more than 582 thousand people who provide services to state entities, would end during the last days of November.
