The design of the new BMW iX1
One of the main keys to the exterior design of the new iX1 is that it does not seek to offer an excessively futuristic image. It is a model that emanates directly from the new X1 and, although it has some distinctive features to enhance its status as an electric car, it fits perfectly into the range of the thermal SUV. The autonomy of the new BMW iX1
Being a battery electric car, all eyes are on the powertrain. The new iX1 has debuted in xDrive30 variant, is the first four-wheel drive electric compact SUV developed by BMW. Equip an electric motor on the front axle and another on the rear. The total power is 230 kW (313 hp) and 494 Nm of maximum torque.

The battery charging times will vary depending on the electrical outlet used. At a fast charging point, the equivalent of 120 km of autonomy can be obtained in about 10 minutes and the recharging process can be completed from 10% to 80% in 29 minutes.

When will it hit the market? The commercial launch of the new iX1 is scheduled for the month of November 2022. It will initially be available in the xDrive30 variant. Its launch will take place a month later than the thermal model. At the moment it is unknown what its price will be in Spain, although it is expected that it will be cheaper than the iX3, an electric that, let us remember, starts at €74,400.
At BMW it is common for the configurator to open months before the start of official marketing, so it will not take long to discover all the highlights of the new iX1 range, including prices. The series production process will be carried out in the facilities that the BMW Group has in Regensburg (Germany).
