Sony Pictures has unveiled the bloody first trailer and poster of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, reboot of the saga that returns to its origins of the video game
The film is written and directed by Johannes Roberts (At 47 meters 1 and 2, The strangers hunt at night), this time starring Kaya Scodelario playing Claire Redfield, Hannah John-Kamen playing Jill Valentine and Robbie Amell playing Chris Redfield, very popular characters from the video game saga on which the film is based.
Returning to the origins of the wildly popular RESIDENT EVIL video game franchise, Johannes Roberts, a fan and filmmaker, is bringing games back to life for a whole new generation of fans. At RESIDENT EVIL: WELCOME TO RACCOON CITYOnce a burgeoning hometown of the pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, Raccoon City is now a dying town in the Midwest. The exodus from the company left the city a wasteland … with a great evil brewing beneath the surface. When that evil is unleashed, a group of survivors must unite to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and survive the night.
Clarie and her brother Chris will find a way to unmask the Umbrella corporation and tell what is happening to people.
Looking at the trailer gives the impression that this reboot will be more faithful to the essence of video games than the previous Paul WS Anderson films starring Milla Jovovich and that launched the actress to stardom.
