Bitnovo, a company dedicated to the sale of cryptocurrencies announced an alliance with the American company Euronet to allow the purchase of Bitcoin and the main cryptocurrencies in all its ATMs in Spanish territory.
The firm already had more than 40,000 cryptocurrency points of sale in Spain, Portugal, Italy and France, adding 3,600 more in the European territory, making it possibleespecially the Spanish, to access the world of cryptocurrencies in a simple way.
Marcos Munoz, founder of Bitnovo stated the following about the deal: “Our purpose, since our birth in 2015, is to democratize access to cryptocurrencies around the world and with the help of Euronet we have taken a historic step in that direction.”
For its part, Euronet sees this alliance as an important strategic move within its sector, with the opportunity to extend this new functionality to its fleet of ATMs that it has in Europe, Asia and America. “The first step is Spain, but we are working together to expand the service to many more countries in Europe and the world”Munoz detailed.
In this sense, Both companies believe that the new ATMs will contribute to the entry of more users into the world of cryptocurrencies, since they are simple devices to understand and with which users are already familiar. Finally, it has also highlighted its ease, because unlike online purchases, ATMs allow operations to be carried out in cash and without the need to resort to transfers or use cards.
