The first days of November, from the cryptocurrency exchange and sponsor of LabitConf, Bitget, affirmed that they will double the number of employees in Latin America until 2023. With 40 employees in the region, the company plans to have at least 80 by the end of next year. Bitget’s vision is to be one of the top 3 cryptocurrency exchanges in the next three to five years.and Latin America could be the strategic point to achieve it.
Gracy Chen, Managing Director of Bitget explained: “We hope to strengthen our workforce and meet the growing needs of the market, and prepare for the next bull market.”.
In its expansion plan, the company announced Leo Messi as its new ambassador. The association with the Argentine player aims to help build recognition of the company in the region. Grace Chen assured: “The association with Messi, who is a much-loved player, will boost our expansion plans in Latin America and attract new clients. It is a market with great potential for the growth of our business and it is becoming increasingly relevant for our company.”.
With four years of existence, from Bitget they assure that: “We are one of the five largest crypto asset exchanges in the derivatives market and the largest in copy trade. We have an average daily trading volume of 8.1 billion dollars, a growth of more than 300% compared to the beginning of 2021. We are present in several Latin American countries, including the markets of Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela”. It currently has 800 employees globally and plans to reach 1,000 collaborators by the end of the year.
