Grupo Bimbo stood out at number 33 globally in the ranking 2021 Kantar Brand Footprint.
In March of this year, Grupo Bimbo came to TikTok with a content proposal that several Internet users liked.
As of today, Bimbo registers just over nine thousand followers and an accumulated 37 thousand likes among all its contents.
The global economic outlook continues to affect many industries and brands that are in the current market, so the increase in their prices has been an option to follow. It was announced that Grupo Bimbo, one of the most consumed Mexican brands in the country and the whole world, will once again raise the prices of its products.
Bimbo is undoubtedly one of the leading Mexican brands in the industry in many countries. Grupo Bimbo highlighted ranked number 33 globally in the 2021 ranking Kantar Brand Footprint.
According to data from the same list, the Mexican multinational, Grupo Bimbo, has been able to maintain its position for four years, it was consolidated as one of the brands with the greatest presence in the majority of homes with 98.9 percent.
These are the products that will increase in prices
These new costs were disclosed, which include the large white bread, which will increase by three pesos and was part of the Package Against Inflation and Famine (PACIC).
According to the brand, these increases in product costs Bimbo will be reflected as of December 19.
According to the new price list, provided by the Commercial Alliance of Small Merchants (Anpec)the package of large white bread will go from 42 to 45 Mexican pesos.
In this sense, in general, the adjustments of Bimbo products will increase between one and 3 pesos this year-end. Where sugary donuts are five percent more expensive, and will go from 20 to 21 pesos. On the other hand, the line with the greatest adjustments will be Oroweat, pBecause most of the products will go from 70 to 74 pesos, an increase of four pesos or 5.71 percent. Another product that will see its price affected will be ground bread, which will rise by a peso.
Let us remember that last May, Grupo Bimbo promised to freeze the price of this product for six months, a period that it has already been fulfilled, with an increase of 7.14 percent.
“The pandemic is taking the economic bill. This postmandemic era is proving difficult for us, because inflation has not ceased to hit the most sensitive area of consumption in society, which is the area of food. It is more difficult for Mexicans to bring food home, to their homes,” said Cuauhtémoc Rivera, who is in charge of Anpec.
In that same order, it was also released by Anpec that cigarettes will also increase prices, which in general, will increase five pesos. In recent times, beer has risen 8.0 percent, which is equivalent to one weight per unit in its popular presentations.
These products are not the only ones that have registered a price increase this last month of the year, since Coca-Cola also increased the costs of many of its products on December 1, due to the aforementioned scenario that is registered both in Mexico and throughout the world.
