Large white bread is not on this list, which was considered one of the basic products of the Package Against Inflation and Famine (PACIC), so until December of last year it kept its price at 43 pesos, although now it is around 47 pesos.
Flour tortillas are another of the bear bakery products that have gone up in price. According to the ANPEC list, the 30-piece packages of the Tía Rosa brand increased by three pesos to 45 pesos, while the 20-piece package of the Del Hogar brand increased from 27 to 30 pesos.
Even with the constant price rises and the inflationary context, the company broke its sales record during 2022.
The group reported sales of 398,706 million pesos in 2022, an increase of 17.7% compared to 339,000 million pesos in 2021.
Along with the growth in revenue, the company increased its cost of sales by 22.6% to 193,325 million pesos during the year, largely due to a significant increase in the price of inputs.
The good results of the company were observed in the increase in its net profit, which more than doubled last year, when it went from 17,382 million pesos during 2021 to 48,484 million pesos.
