Twitter was the space where the consumer expressed her complaint, which is added to others where the lack of quality control of the brand can be seen.
Once again, the quality control of Bimbo is the focus of a consumer complaint, who says she has had an “unpleasant experience” with her Mante Chox.
It cannot be denied that the window that social networks offer today is extremely powerful; We are talking about spaces that provide great interaction to users, regardless of where they are.
This, of course, has been well used by brands and/or companies, especially when it comes to capturing a new consumer niche.
However, it is a reality that, thanks to platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and even TikTok, the relationship between brands and consumers has changed radically; today there is a much more direct communication, which is used to report all kinds of cases.
Bimbo is one of the most solid Mexican companies, a brand that, in some way, consumers feel proud of just because it is from Mexico.
According to data from Statista, Grupo Bimbo was the company with the highest sales value in the country, registering 331.05 billion pesosleaving behind Grupo Lala with 80.83 billion, Bachoco with 68.79 billion, Nestlé with 67.5 billion and Alpura with 24.4 billion, among other brands related to the market.
Its presence on networks has also been the subject of controversy, complaints and all kinds of comments, many of which reveal serious errors that the company makes in terms of quality control.

It is clear that this is serious neglect, which could even affect the health of the consumer. Given this, on its portal, the Federal Consumer Attorney’s Office (Profeco) and the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (Cofepris)mentions that:
“Health complaints are intended to inform this authority of the facts, acts or omissions in health matters, which, according to the perspective of the complainant, represents a risk or causes damage to the health of the population.”
It should be noted that this type of case is reported very frequently and occurs with other brands, which proves the fact that it is necessary for brands to continue working on their own quality controls to prevent the consumer from suffering other types of consequences.
A few months ago, the case of a consumer from Chedraui, who bought a piece of cheese at the store, which was 10 pesos off; however, his product was already spoiled.
don’t suck @chedrauioficial One thing is for you to deduct $10 pesos from me and another is for you to sell me what no longer serves you! you sucked!!! No wonder they put it on discount and that’s how I’ve had to see discount sausages with leaky packaging!!! @Profeco it is supposed to expire on 03/01 pic.twitter.com/6WqNH91KSO

In the end, this only reflects the opinion of the consumer and the conversation that it generates in the digital pulse, Therefore, Merca 2.0 requested the position of the brand in order to tell both versions of the story; however, so far it has not been received. The note will be updated in case of a response.
