Users applauded Bimbo’s delivery man for taking responsibility for the hit.
Others told the affected driver that he should have called his auto insurance.
A Bimbo delivery man caused damage to a private car by accident and decided to recover without having to call the insurance…but the payment he gave to the affected driver caused conversation on the digital pulse.
In Mexico it is very common to hear the saying “he who hits, pays”, a popular advertising campaign of a car insurer that promoted services derived from road incidents; however, not many take the time to go through this process to determine liability and amounts to be covered, especially when a business car is involved.
It is estimated that of the 126 million inhabitants in Mexico, only 7.8 million people have a private service that insures your automotive belonging.
Bimbo’s delivery man’s damage “insurance” for a car
A TikTok user shared how two drivers peacefully and gracefully patched up their differences after an accidental hit damaged one of their cars.
The fact is not known exactly where it happened, but it has generated more than one sarcastic and funny comment from Internet users.
“Like when Bimbo’s door slams on you and he pays you with bread”reads the description of the clip.

As can be seen in the TikTok video, the red car ended up with a scratch that peeled off its paint after Bimbo’s supplier got out of his truck and, during a delivery, did not notice the force he applied when opening his door.
However, due to lack of time for both drivers – and because of the delivery man’s fear of having a conflict with the company – the men decided not to call their respective auto insurance companies, where the affected party would surely not have paid anything for the paint coating. .
However, he says, guilt made the delivery man give him a tray of Bimbo sweet bread as part of the damage.
User reaction:
“It was the bread that expired the next day bro 🙁 hahaha ntc”.
“I imagine a situation arranged by two badass guys, as it should be.”
“It happened to us with one of Coca-Cola, he threw the cover of a mirror at us and it was scratched, how we saw that it could be fixed, we told him to leave and he gave us a fence.”
“You do know that those trucks are insured, right?”
“It’s good to put yourself in someone else’s shoes when it’s an accident, so you have to take it and be flexible so as not to harm the other person.”
“I hope it happens with a stock truck.”
