Bill Murray has confirmed that he will take on a villain role in Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania
Since Bill Murray’s confirmation in Ant-Man and the Wasp: QuantumaniaThere have been many rumors about the character he will play in the Peyton Reed-directed school, including being The original human torch from an image shared on networks by the director of the film. Now the actor has confirmed what role he plays.
In a video that they have withdrawn in the last hours (why will it be), he was asked what superpowers his character has, answering only with: “My power is that I am a bad guy [risas]».
The main rumor right now is that Murray has been cast as a little-known character from The incredible Hulk # 156 Called Krylar. That story followed the Green Giant on a trip to the “Micro-Verse” where Krylar (who also died in this issue) was a scientist subordinate to the despotic ruler of his planet. With a machine capable of generating the physical embodiment of someone’s greatest fear, he held the Hulk at bay with a runaway green Goliath that terrorized Bruce Banner.
These rumors point to Murray likely playing Krylar in the quantum realm. It’s impossible to say how that will relate to Kang the conqueror and the time Janet Van Dyne spent there, but it could be a fun role for the actor.
Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania opens on July 28, 2023.
