In the past Assassin’s Creed Showcase that we enjoyed during September’s Ubisoft Forward, the French company revealed the future of the Assassin’s Creed saga, showing us exciting releases such as the one from Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which will make us return to the classic style of the franchise at the hands of Basim during the golden age of Baghdad. Red (RPG Feudal Japan) and Hexe (non-RPG and possibly focused on witch hunts across Europe) were also announced, but we were all left wanting the Assassin’s Creed remake.
After Ubisoft did not show any trailer for the Assassin’s Creed remake, many fans wondered if the leaks about the remake of the first installment starring Altaïr were true, to which Ubisoft art director Jean-Luc Sala and the executive producer of the series, Marc-Alexis Côté, they confirmed they weren’t redoing the first installment. But after the denial, a new leak has come into view, telling us that the Assassin’s Creed remake would indeed be in development.
