Rumors that pointed to September 14 as a possible date for the keynote that Apple celebrates every fall have been fulfilled. The company has just sent the invitations to the media and, indeed, it will be next Tuesday when the Cupertino people celebrate their third event of the year (after the presentation of the iPads in April and the WWDC 2021 in June).
And what do we hope to see next week? First of all the new generation of the iPhone, the iPhone 13, but they will not arrive alone. It is very likely that we also know the new Apple Watch Series 7 and, as usual, the final release date of iOS 15 and the rest of the company’s operating systems.
It will once again be a virtual event
Invitations on the 7th, event on the 14th, booking on the 17th, arrival on the 24th. This was the roadmap that was being considered during the last weeks and the first two steps are already a reality: Apple is sending the invitations to the media today, 7 of September, to summon us to the event which will take place next Tuesday, September 14. And once again, as it happened last year and as also happened with the launch of the iPad Pro (2021), it will be a completely virtual event.
There is no official confirmation, but everything indicates that next week we will finally meet the new iPhone 13, and we say it in the plural because four models are expected: iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Almost in all probability Apple will also reveal the date on which it will deploy the stable version of iOS 15, which we have already been able to test in the beta. And more of the same with iPadOS 15 and WatchOS 8.
Speaking of watches, all pools suggest that next Tuesday Apple will take advantage of the keynote to present in society the new generation of your smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 7, of which details about its design and features have also been leaked. New AirPods are not ruled out either, although in this case, it seems more feasible that Apple decides to save them for later.
Be that as it may, next Tuesday, September 14 at 10:00 in California (19:00 Spanish time), from Apple Park, Tim Cook will give again the starting gun of a new keynote that fans of the bitten apple look forward to and that we can continue on the company’s website. We will see what they have prepared for us in Cupertino.
