Apple TV +, Apple’s streaming movie and series service that costs only 4.99 euros per month, has been on the market for more than a year. With the announcement of this service, the company activated an offer that consisted of a free year to all those users who bought a new device. When this free period began to end for the first users who activated it, Apple decided to extend it until February. Now, the company is extending the plan again until July.
All those users who activated the free year when buying a Mac, iPad, iPhone, iPod or Apple TV from September 2019, will be able to enjoy a few more months of service at no cost. Specifically, until next July 202 1. In other words, what was going to be a free plan for one year, has ended up becoming a free plan for 1 year and 9 months. This also translates into savings of around € 105. since the service has a cost of 4.99 euros per month.
Users who do not have an Apple device or who have not been able to access the free offer of the year will only have one week of Apple TV + trial. Afterward, they will have to pay 4.99 euros per month. Of course, it is not an exorbitant cost, and it is worth paying those 5 euros to see the excellent content that is on the platform.
What do I have to do to enjoy the free trial extension? Nothing, Apple will activate it by default and will notify you a few months before via email, just as it did when it announced the extension of the service until February.
The company has not explained the reasons for this extension, but the lucky ones will be able to enjoy very interesting premieres, such as the Billie Eilish documentary, new original series or the new Apple TV + movie starring Tom Holland, without paying for the service.
