A top Apple executive has resigned from his position of 20 years after a joke of his went viral on TikTok.
Tony Blevins, the company’s former vice president of acquisitions, appeared on the series “What Do You Do For A Living” by Daniel Mac. In it, the influencer asks rich people what they do for a living.
In the clip, which was shared on September 5, Blevins is seen getting out of his $500,000 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. Mac asks how he makes a living. Blevins replies, “I own million dollar cars, I play golf, and I grope big-breasted women, but I take weekends and big vacations off.”

A bad reference from the Apple executive
The bad joke is possibly a reference to the 1981 movie Arthur. The 25-second clip has been viewed more than 1.5 million times on TikTok.
In accordance with BloombergApple decided to launch an investigation when comments on the video highlighted the sexist nature of the prank. Blevins apologized for his actions in a statement to the outlet saying:
“I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by my misguided attempt at humor.”
According to The Wall Street JournalBlevins was hired by Tim Cook in 2000 to handle supplier agreements, contract manufacturers and supply purchases.
