Animal Crossing New Horizons was released in March 2020 being one of the best games of the year in the sense that the difficult times that were lived at that time, the title of Nintendo Switch helped many to be able to clear themselves from confinement, as well as to be able to meet family and friends.
Just this caused many purchases in both the console and the game, thus converting it into one of the biggest successes not only of the saga, but also of Nintendo in general, currently ranking as the 2nd best-selling game on the console with more than 33 million units sold worldwide, which apparently gives the feeling that everything is going well.
However, all that glitters is not gold, since many players demanded the absence of functions and characters present in previous titles, such as the cafeteria of Figaro, the Captain, Tortimer, among many others. And knowing this, it seems that at least one of these missing will return from limbo soon.
The cafeteria would arrive this fall at Animal Crossing New Horizons
According to the recent Nintendo Direct, the title will receive a future update this coming November, of which more details will be given in a Nintendo Direct that will take place sometime in October and focused solely on Animal Crossing New Horizons, as revealed in the following trailer:
However, it seems more than obvious that the cafeteria will return to the game, this being a new room that would be opened in the museum, together with the art exhibition. This would dovetail with a leak around a title update, which would add this feature at some point in the near future.
For the rest, it should be noted that, today, it is unknown if the Animal Crossing Direct will focus exclusively on this feature or yes, on the contrary brings surprises beyond the leaked. Be that as it may, we will have to wait for an official date for this broadcast to be given, which would go almost hand in hand with the presentation of the last character of the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Fighters Pass.
