“Everyone wants to know when Venom will meet Spider-Man, personally, it’s not going to happen … I’m kidding. (The meeting between Spider-Man and Venom) It’s going to happen, the question is when? We don’t want to rush“.
How will Spidey and Venom meet in the future?
In 2019 the CEO of Sony Pictures, Tony Vinciquerra, had advanced that it was inevitable that Peter Parker and Eddie Brock would cross their paths on the big screen, although the details are adjusted for the meeting.
“Spider-Man was fine before the events of the movies (in the MCU), he got better with the events of the movies, and now that we have our own universe, he will also play with the other characters … I think we are quite capable of knowing what we have to do here”.
In the comics Venom arises after Spider-Man’s rejection of the klyntar suit, while in the cinema Eddie Brock manages to become Venom after his symbiote arrived from a space expedition, so the arrival of the wall-crawler in the Spider-Man Universe Sony remains a mystery.
