How to translate texts on Android without Google Translator
Although it is not necessary to use Google Translate, you can opt for a tool from the same company: Google Lens. Here we show you the step by step.
- First, open the camera of your Android phone.
- Now, locate the buttons located at the top of the phone screen.
- After this, tap on the icon in the shape of a circle inside a square.
- This option is located on the left side.
- Once you do this, you will see the name of Google Lens at the top.
- Right away, scroll down to the bottom where the options menu is.
- Then, swipe the screen to the left until you reach the “Translate” button.
- Grab your mobile and focus on the image with the text in another language.
- Finally, the phrase or word will appear in the language you want.
You should know that by default the texts will be translated into Spanish; however, you can choose other languages to suit your needs.
