This weekend has taken place one of the most important events in the history of Netflix. We are talking about TUDUM, a space that the production company has used as a showcase to publicize new details of more than seventy films and series that are about to reach its catalog in the coming months. In that sense, today we are talking about all The Witcher series and movies that Netflix has announced on TUDUM. The first of them, as expected, has been a new preview of the second season of The witcher, again with Henry Cavill, Freya Allan and Anya Chalottra at the helm, but now also with the addition of Vesemir after his presentation in the anime film The Witcher: The Wolf’s Nightmare.
As if that were not enough, Netflix also took the opportunity to confirm the third season of the series even before having premiered the second and to confirm that Nightmare of the wolf has been a success and they are already working on a new anime movie. Of course, we still do not know its theme, so it could be a direct sequel to Vesemir’s story or something completely different. To the surprise of many, Netflix announced another series, although this family cut and whose title is still unknown. A family friendly tone that many still have not quite understood for a franchise for The Witcher, but we will have to wait to find out what it is about.
Vesemir is seen for the first time in the new trailer for season 2 of The Witcher
Finally, the North American production company did not want to close the space dedicated to the sorcerer without showing some images of The Witcher: Blood Origin, a sequel that has been in the filming phase for some time and that will take us more than a thousand years into the past of Andrzej Sapkowski’s universe. Remember that the second season of Netflix’s The Witcher will arrive next December 17 and that it is only the first step of everything that the platform is preparing for its star license.
