Alejandro Moreno Cardenas, national leader of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), announced a restructuring of the party and new appointments with the aim of renewing the tricolor.
Among the series of changes in the structure of the party stands out the incorporation of four senators, two deputies, a former governor and the return of Graciela Ortiz to the National Executive Committee (CEN).
“We have decided to promote new tasks, new responsibilities to PRI members with a proven track record, with work and service in favor of citizens. It is professional, committed people So what you know his career, Moreno said at a press conference.
The leader pointed out that the PRI is a party in movement that will always need to be renewed, so that the new members who will be in charge of the various secretariats of the tricolor are “men and women with proven profiles, who will add to the work that has been done to inside our party and for the benefit of the militancy”.
He also thanked the members who, over two years, added their “effort, talent and ability to strengthen the PRI throughout Mexico,” and who, he added, were key piece to give meaning to your cause in defense of the country. “We will continue working in favor of the militancy and the Mexicans,” he reiterated.
Moreno Cárdenas reported that the federal deputy was appointed Carlos Iriarte Market as the new CEN Elections Secretary, while Miguel Alonso Reyes, former governor of Zacatecas, became the secretary of Political Operation.
The leader assured that the PRI “promotes and supports the participation of women, not only because of their capacity and commitment, but also because of their dedication to the party,” for which he joined Sara Rocha Medina as the new secretary of Social Management already Lucia Ramirez Ortiz as secretary and in charge of caring for the elderly. For her part, Senator Claudia Anaya Mota She will be the new secretary for links with educational institutions.
Alejandro Moreno also decided to appoint the senators Mario Zamora Gastelum, as deputy secretary of the PRI presidency and with responsibilities for political and electoral operations in the states; Jorge Carlos Ramírez Marín, representative of the party before the National Electoral Institute (INE), and Manuel Añorve Baños, as the PRI’s liaison with the Senate of the Republic.
In addition, the deputy Roberto Carlos Lopez it became the CEN’s liaison with the Chamber of Deputies; Claudia Esqueda as liaison with unions and Graciela Ortiz González, who leaves the Secretariat of Political Operation to serve in the Secretariat of Strategy and Planning, with the aim of “giving the political party a greater order, political and social performance in each of the entities in Mexico.”

At the end of the presentation of the new leaders of the National Executive Committee, Alejandro Moreno remarked that “this is a new stage of the match. We will continue working in the territory, in the structures, in our proximity ”.
