Lowi continues to be one of Vodafone’s main growth vectors. If in the last quarter it registered a growth of 60,000 clients to make a total of 1.3 million, now the operator wants to take a pulse in the low-cost market, even if that means eroding service income. We will see how the play turns out in the short, medium and long term.
Fiber and mobile for 30 euros or less
However, what concerns us in this article is to find alternatives to the rates of Lowi that can be contracted before September 30 and that will maintain their prices forever. As a reminder, these are the promotional prices that the virtual Vodafone presented this week:
- 100 Mbps + unlimited calls + 8GB for 29.95 euros
- 300 Mbps + unlimited calls + 20GB for 34.95 euros
- 600 Mbps + unlimited calls + 30GB for 39.95 euros
Although all the rates may seem more or less interesting, we are going to stick with the € 29.95 option that includes a 100 Mbps fiber connection and a mobile line with unlimited calls and 8GB to navigate. The stay is 3 months and we can accumulate gigs for the following month or share it with other Lowi clients. Also, before August 15 we can still get the 60GB summer bonus.
Simyo, the virtual one from Orange
One of the alternatives we have comes from Simyo, Orange’s virtual mobile operator that has been offering fiber and mobile combined for not long. Your options for 30 euros or less are:
- Fiber 100 Mbps + 200 minutes in calls + 100MB per 26.49 euros
- 100 Mbps fiber + unlimited calls + 14GB for 28.99 euros
- Fiber 100 Mbps + 20 minutes in calls + 25GB for 28.99 euros
Digi, the operator who stomps
The Romanian operator Digi manages to “put” some of its plans in this comparison thanks to offering 300 Mbps fiber from 25 euros and being able to add mobile rates under special conditions. The options are:
- Fiber 300 Mbps + 100 minutes in calls + 2GB per 27 euros
- Fiber 300 Mbps + unlimited calls + 8GB for 30 euros
Llamaya, the alternative of Grupo MásMóvil
Curiously, we have found an alternative with coverage from each of the mobile network operators in our country. In this case, from the MásMóvil Group, we have Llamaya’s proposal with these conditions:
- Fiber 50 Mbps + unlimited calls + 5GB per 29 euros
There are not many alternatives that follow the rhythm of the ordeal launched by Lowi, but it is possible that soon we will know more interesting proposals that try to counteract the effect that this proposal will have on the market, valid until September 30. As we can see, it is not easy, but it is possible to have fiber and mobile for less than 30 euros per month.
