It was reported that from January to July of this year, withdrawals amounted to 12,407.6 million pesos, a figure 17.4% higher than in the same period of 2020.
So far this year, about 1.11 million people withdrew an average of 11,119 pesos for this concept.
It was also the first time that a decrease in withdrawals was reported compared to July with the same period last year.
The Afores that registered the most outflows of funds during July were Coppel, with 426 million pesos; Afore Azteca, with 337.4 million pesos; and Banorte with mdp, says Consar.
In Mexico, people who lose their jobs and who worked for the formal sector, can request unemployment support from their administrator.
To do so, it is required to have your file updated with biometric data. This support can only be requested once every five years and weeks of contributions, necessary to have a pension, are deducted.
Since April 2020, the figures for unemployment retirements increased considerably, with October 2020 being the month in which the most retirements were made with 2,094.9 million pesos.
