The Call of Duty: Warzone gaming community has witnessed a large number of bugs become common in the beloved battle royale since the transition to Caldera. Some of which have completely broken the game for many more competitive players.
Something we find quite curious is that, the infamous Buy Station freezing bug was fixed in the latest update, but the weird graphical issues are still causing problems. All of this is spoiling what should be an exciting time for fans, with Warzone Pacific Season 2 on the way very soon.
More recently, players have reported another glitch that fundamentally breaks the game for them. Enemies completely disappear while aiming down sights in certain places, making the game “unplayable”. The issue was raised by Reddit user stumline, who posted a clip revealing the glitch.
The player and their teammate notice an enemy in the window of a shack in the distance. However, when they aim to fire, the enemy mysteriously disappears, causing confusion in the ranks. But, although they can no longer be seen, they have not completely disappeared, as the shots that seemingly come from nowhere take out their teammate.
Not only that, other parts of the environment seemed to break when the player aimed. The wooden fence they were using as cover temporarily became invisible, while even the weapon they were holding went blank, leaving only the reticle on the screen.
His only real option was to abandon the fight and his teammate and run. Other Warzone players responded to the clip, claiming that they had faced similar issues, both on console and PC. “I had this last night. Same problem on Peak. Xbox Series X user,” a fan mentioned.
“I have this every game, several times a game, and I have lost so many engagements through it,” said another reply. “This game is pretty unplayable.” Players have noticed that this issue seems to keep popping up in similar places around Caldera.
