This Apple patent is not what you really expect, and it is going to surprise you.
Although in recent times we have collected interesting Apple patents that heralded a spectacular future when it comes to our future electronic devices, now we have news of another patent that is out of the ordinary, in the form of a sort of removable key on a keyboard of a future MacBook model that is going to surprise you.
While most patents speak of imaginations and designs that we will probably never see in a device that we can touch, the truth is that they are also clues to where the big tech companies are working towards.
This Apple patent registered on the United States Patent and Trademark Office It is titled “pull-down mouse” and it describes a system in which a MacBook keyboard houses a hidden removable key, and we tell you what it is for exactly.
Well, this hidden removable key provides “a comfortable, portable and precise pointer input” for a system such as a computer, that is, a key that we could use as a native mouse for this new Macbook, thereby ensuring greater precision.
And it is that Apple points out that for the tasks of creating high intensity graphic content they are better with a dedicated mouse, and at the same time they affirm that in this way it would no longer be necessary to have to carry a mouse on top if we carry our MacBook from a place to another.
This key obviously it would be chosen from one of the least pressed keys on the keyboard, so that there is no problem when using it. Apple could end up incorporating a kind of sliding mechanism to remove one or more keys from the case both vertically and horizontally.
